“I joined Four Seasons as a Manager in Training in Finance at our property in Austin, Texas, after graduating in Hospitality Operations Management from Niagara College, in Niagara Falls, Canada. The willingness of Four Seasons to support an international move to the United States by sponsoring me for a J-1 Training Visa speaks to how committed the company is to developing its employees. The assistance provided in my move and the welcome from co-workers truly made me feel that I’m a part of a big family – a culture which Mr. Sharp so successfully created from the beginning.

My career goal is to work in an executive-level management position in a property or Corporate Office, hence, being in Finance was the perfect starting point. My role was to learn each function of the Accounting Department, in preparation for a Staff Accountant position. So for two months I rotated through every department in the Hotel to gain a better understanding of how the operation worked. This training provided a solid background for my promotion to Development Analyst in Four Seasons Corporate Office, where I’m now able to learn about the business from a macro perspective.

As the long-term direction of the company is to double in size in the next decade, the opportunities are endless, and Four Seasons is a company that will support you every step of the way.”
